The caches of your mind intrigue my spirit. The way you string words together gives powerful impressions. Love's Dark Edge is well developed, informative and poetic. My only wish is that the book could be longer. You have great things to say.

What an exceptional monthly meeting for National Guild of Hypnotists Chapter of Anchorage Alaska! Our guest speaker, Douglas C. Myers, PhD Counseling Therapist, was brought back by popular demand.  He presented part II of Love's Dark Edge. We were so mesmerized that we'll be hosting him again for part III on Saturday, December 27th.  Doug's book, Love's Dark Edge - From Fear to Fulfillment, answers the question of the rock band, Foreigner, who wrote the song, 'I Want To Know What Love Is'.

Love's Dark Edge is one of the most insightful pieces I have read. Sure brought me back to my childhood, and understanding of so much of it . . . but also to my personal journey and the person I choose to be today.

Keep writing. You have important messages for people. The book hit me in the gut at first . . . (which is exactly what an authentic message should do) but then . . . whew . . . yes . . . let me know that the past is past and cannot hurt me . . . with growth, faith, trust . . . we all can embrace love and learn authentic love in our lives. I have found it to be so true in my life.

I read the book through, and it spoke to my heart. Lots of insight that pertains to me personally at this time in my life. I have recommended it as a good reading reference . . .
